Florence Lasbennes is a French agronomist specialized in rural economy. She has worked in several African countries on rural land issues, food security, post-conflict economic reconstruction. She has also worked for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs on food security before joining the United Nations where, from 2009 to 2018, she managed large scale multi-stakeholder and multi-sector initiatives on food and nutrition. Florence is now the Managing Director of 4SD (Skills, Systems and Synergies for Sustainable Development), a Swiss social enterprise, where she supports the development of capacities for systems change. Florence is now leading an agile and nimble team stimulating and guiding multi-stakeholder dialogues on food systems around the world: more than 1,500 Dialogues have been held in association with the 2021 UN Food Systems Summit.
