Janice LeBoeuf is the Strategic Initiatives Coordinator with Arrell Food Institute. In this role, she supports major sustainability initiatives including the Loblaw Net-Zero Food Systems Challenge and Feeding the Future with Canadian Technology.

Janice is a graduate of the University of Guelph, where she completed an Honours B.Sc. in Agriculture. Her agri-food experience ranges from primary production to food processing to research and extension. A former provincial vegetable crop specialist with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Janice has worked in various levels of government as well as the private sector. She is also a partner in her family farm in Southwestern Ontario.

Outside of work, Janice enjoys paddling, hiking, participating in almost any sports activity that presents itself, and generally being active and outdoors. She tends to plan her vacations (and spent part of her career) around historical sites and museums.
