Natalie is a 2023 Net-Zero Food Systems Challenge Participant
Natalie is a student from Brock University, where she is studying for her masters in the Sustainability Science and Society program under Dr. Julia Baird. She is a member of the university’s Water Resilience Lab and a research assistant. Natalie’s thesis project builds on her previous planning knowledge as she aims to support the implementation of climate change solutions within the Canadian context as part of the Partnership for Freshwater Resilience between WWF-Canada and Brock University. In addition to her academic studies, Natalie is a budding entrepreneur, and owner of an urban market garden business in the Niagara region where she is growing food for her community and, sharing her knowledge of sustainable practices and the importance of eating locally and organically grown food.
