Tenille Bonoguore
Strategic Initiatives Lead
Tenille Bonoguore is the Strategic Initiatives LeadĀ for the Arrell Food Institute. Her role focuses on high level strategy and insight: connecting people, ideas and opportunities that open new avenues for sustainability in agriculture and food systems.
Tenille’s career spans international climate, municipal governance, journalism, science communication, and community climate action. She brings deep experience in strategy, analysis, breaking down complexity for multiple audiences, and the local and global impacts of climate change. She was one of Australia’s two agriculture negotiators at COP29, and is particularly drawn to the complexity of agri-food as it impacts — and is impacted by — environment, climate and biodiversity.
Tenille also sits on the Board of Directors for Reep Green Solutions in Waterloo.
An Australian-Canadian, Tenille’s favourite animals are lizards, insects and birds.
