Anita is a dedicated advocate for sustainability and innovative environmental solutions, with a strong passion for advancing sustainable food systems and climate resilience. She holds an MSc in Climate Change and Sustainable Development from the University of Ghana and a BSc in Environmental Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Anita is also an ISO 9001 Lead Implementer, equipped with expertise in integrating quality management systems into environmental initiatives.
Anita brings valuable professional experience from her role as a Senior Research Associate at an environmental consultancy in Ghana, where she worked on sustainability-focused projects, including life cycle analyses to assess environmental impacts and identify strategies for optimizing resource use and reducing waste.
Her academic background includes coursework and research in agroecology, biodiversity conservation, and ecosystem management, providing a strong foundation for addressing complex challenges in food system sustainability. As a course-based master’s student in Environmental Science at the University of Guelph, Anita is focusing on bridging scientific knowledge and practical applications in sustainability.
Anita’s goal is to leverage her expertise and experiences to drive global sustainability efforts, with a focus on natural resource management, climate resilience, and the transition to sustainable food systems.
