Food waste is one of the most significant sustainability challenges we face today: 35.5 million metric tonnes are lost or waste annually in Canada. Food isn’t the only challenge though. Waste from food packaging accounts for one-third of Canadians’ household waste.

This new report describes the state of the food and food-related waste in Canada and recommends how we can all take steps to curb the problem.
