As the digital agricultural revolution continues, we are working to discover new ways to protect the planet while providing even safer food than ever before. We also pay attention to the consequences that new technologies and approaches to farming bring, especially to jobs and communities.

Dr. Rattan Lal is the winner of the Arrell Global Food Innovation Award in the Research Category for 2020. Dr. Lal’s extensive academic career has been foundational in the soil sciences, and applied to real farms around the world.
